Please note: I discovered the following as a draft I wrote in 2023. Considering what has transpired with the enormous corruption uncovered by RFK Jr., Trump and Elon Musk in the United States and now with reform uncovering massive mispent fund by various councils I have published this.

Britain prides itself on being some kind of “beacon” of fair play and human rights. Sometimes this is true. At other times it is certainly not ! There is corruption in this country and there is a lot of it. However you won’t find this in the form of stuffing pound notes into officials hands and so forth. This corruption is much more in government and the medical system. The medical system is the worst perpetrator but people have blinded themselves to it. This is not the case in the rest of the world where the data shows that they have a clearer perception of corruption and corruption is reported more.

The first time I encountered this effect was when I, for the first time, crossed from the “first” world to the “third” world. This was in 1993 when I crossed the border from San Diego in the USA to Tijuana in Mexico. I’d been on holidays in Europe but I’d never left The West until that moment in 1993. And it was a moment. A big moment. I definitely felt a shift as I crossed that border, energetically, psychologically and culturally. It was like leaving a well tended garden and finally entering the world for real. Reality. I started realising that people in The West, especially in the USA and UK have a reality problem. As in they are not very well connected to it most of the time. This was bought home when in my naïve 23 years of existence I was walking down an extremely hot street in Tijuana with my more experienced back packing friend (he had done the “hippy trail” in India). I paused at a newsagent. There were stands outside in the street with magazines on them. One caught my eye. It was a magazine (likely locally DIY printed) about gangland killings. On it’s cover was a photo of some poor fellows severed head in the middle of the street. I was transfixed. Horrified ! I eventually managed to rip myself away and continued down the street. I started feeling a bit angry. How dare they shock me with this appalling image ! Then it hit me. It was a warning. A public service; “Look what’s going on out there” it said. Now this little incident always highlights to me the problem in The West. You won’t find magazines like this in British or (AFAIK) American newsagents explicitly showing the equivalent horrors that plague The West. I’m not talking about gun toting drug gangs. No, here the problem is enormous Pharma corruption. A psychiatric system that practically does the equivalent of “beheading” people through the use of damaging drugs and ECT. It really is that horrific (for example see Psychiatry and Its Discontents by Andrew Skull) yet most people in the UK are simply not aware of it. I call that a reality dysfunction. I call that a society that has dropped the ball. I call that a society that is behind Mexico and Guatemala. Britain is a society that is behind the Yemen and Somalia. Because Yemen and Somalia have their problems. Yes they bloody well have their problems as every two bit humanitarian likes to harp on about on the evening news or down the pub. But at least they are aware that they have those problems. And in many ways that puts them light years ahead of us, because in this country their is crushing critical failure of honesty and vision. It’s like dealing with a load myopic moles or something. It would be comical if the corruption and human rights violations weren’t so serious, from death caused by psychiatry to perpetrator groups that kidnap and torture children.

Mexicans are more aware of this kind of thing ! Isn’t that better ?

Like that magazine in in Mexico it might give you a few difficult moments but just like the Mexicans you mentally note it down and you get on with your day.

But

There are FUCKING DOCUMENTED BRIBES FFS !

The horizontal axis shows scores in the Corruption Perception Index (lower values reflect higher perceived corruption). The vertical axis shows the percentage of people who report having paid a bribe to access public services in the last year.
