AFAIK other political protests – anti-lockdown protests – have been immediately dispersed with a large and aggressive police presence. For a start Trump had already seen through this entire thing by at least 28th of February 2020 as witnessed by the following video from the New Charleston rally on that date …
- The Trump effect. This madness was engineered to get Trump (or more specifically the people who voted for him) as well as those who support him and so called “populism” in general (translation: people wanting to live in peaceful thriving economies). The economy going up. Peace with North Korea, in the Middle East, China. Going after corruption and criminality. Troops withdrawn from Iraq and Afghanistan (end to endless wars). This appalling COVID-19 plan, which is now failing, highlights the massive positive changes that Brexit, then Trump and now other “populist” leaders have been bringing in across the world. As horrible as COVID-19 has been it has highlighted what evil, evil people skulk in our society. Listen to Bill Mitchel in the video above describe how Dr Fauci downplayed the usefulness of Hydroxychloroquine in treating COVID-19 rather than simply giving people some HOPE. Evil ! If anything comes out of this crisis then I hope it makes all of us consider much more seriously who we are voting for.

- There is no comprehensive testing available … “we simply don’t have mass testing available for the population now” (source) which along with Professor Neil Ferguson’s dodgy computer models has created a vortex of fear (and mind numbing stupidity) based on what is basically a massive guess.
- The government has relied on advice from a single expert (OK, he has a team but he is leader of that team so holds the responsibility) to go forth with one of the most destructive projects ever in this country. The closest fiasco is the 2001 Foot & Mouth crisis but this is much worse.
- In this vortex of fear and hysteria its worth remembering that as humans we are susceptible to psychogenic illness (for example see here and here). Yes there obviously is a real virus. But the government has made an inexcusable error of judgement by not taking into account the statements of other experts. With the army now involved there are potential dangers here. What if after months of lock down people become very hysterical and angry and attempt to forcibly break through restrictions ? What if there are armed soldiers on the streets ? What if they believe that “millions could die” if infected people are not held back ? This is what I wrote about to my MP only to receive a standard response about current COVID-19 measures. Everyone needs to wake up and get a grip.
