As always the challenge lays before us. Will society continue to blame the victims rather than looking at the facts and admitting the truth ? Will the “conspiracy theory” phrase be wheeled out for one more tired journey around the theatre ? No one wants to face unpleasant truths or deal with unpleasant things. In fact this is why we have police forces, systems of law and politicians. But they simply are not tackling or even admitting that this problem exists. So in the end the ball comes rolling back into the court of society. Democracy. Will society vote in a party or politician that will do what needs to be done ?
